Meet the Team

Paul Everett joined the Longbolt board in 2011 bringing over 25 years of high-level mining industry experience to the company. Paul has a long-standing reputation for project management and his mentorship and training is highly regarded, with personnel and deputies under his instruction in high demand. During his tenure, Paul has heavily influenced Queensland’s mining industry, working across projects in Central Colliery, North Goonyella, Newlands, Oaky, Oaky North and Moranbah North.

Multinational mining companies strongly endorse Paul’s authority and expertise, having worked with Paul or engaged him as a consultant. A former Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Longwall Mechanical Coordinator and Underground Fitter, Paul’s knowledge on longwall equipment, overhauls, relocations and project planning has established him as a thought leader in the underground coal mining space.

Prior to Paul’s appointment to the Longbolt board, he held production, project and engineering management positions with Xstrata Coal.

Justin Hajdu’s values, focus and deliberate leadership style has been influencing Longbolt since he joined the board as a director in 2010. Justin manages Longbolt’s electrical division and mentors electricians in the mining industry, supporting our people to succeed and prosper. Justin’s guidance and knowledge sharing unleashes potential talent in our business, enhancing Longbolt’s service offerings and contributing to the betterment of the industry as a whole.

Facilitating open, authentic and effective communication and between stakeholders and clients, Justin is respected as a leader at both board level and by our workers.

Committed to progression and commercial performance, Justin’s ability to translate strategic imperatives into meaningful action continues to push Longbolt forward.

Justin has a Certificate IV in Higher Engineering and held supervisory and management positions working with Rio Tinto at Kestrel Coal Mine prior to joining Longbolt.
